Powerup ATV Towable Flail Mower

The Powerup ATV Towable Flail Mower is a heavy-duty, self-powered flail mower designed for cutting paddocks, fields, rough grass and overgrown areas without the need for a tractor.

Powered by its own 15HP petrol engine, the mower can be towed behind an ATV, quad bike, UTV or other suitable vehicle, making it an ideal choice for smallholders, equestrian properties, estates and landowners who need a capable mower for areas where a tractor may be unnecessary or difficult to use.

Unlike a conventional topper, the high-speed flail rotor chops grass and vegetation into smaller pieces, helping leave a cleaner, more controlled finish across paddocks and rough ground.

15HP Self-Powered Engine

The mower is powered by its own 15HP petrol engine, meaning your towing vehicle only needs to pull the machine rather than power the cutting rotor.

This makes the mower a practical option for customers who already own an ATV, quad or UTV but don't have access to a tractor and PTO-driven mower.

Heavy-Duty Flail Cutting

The flail rotor provides a strong cutting and mulching action, chopping vegetation repeatedly as you travel.

Compared with simply knocking long vegetation over, the flail system helps break the material down and spread it more evenly across the cutting area.

It's particularly well suited to land that isn't maintained frequently enough for a conventional lawn mower.

Adjustable Offset

The mower can be offset from the towing vehicle, allowing you to position it to suit the ground you're working on.

This is particularly useful when mowing along field edges, fence lines and around obstacles, as well as helping you cover the towing vehicle's wheel tracks.

Adjustable Cutting Height

Do you offer finance options on your machinery?

We have partnered with iDeal4Finance to introduce you to options including 0% Finance on selected products.

  • Eligibility: Finance is available for orders between £1,000 and £25,000.
  • Requirements: You must be a permanent UK resident (3+ years), aged 18 or over, and have a regular income.
  • Application: The process is completed online with a quick decision, often instantly or within 24 hours.

Finance available subject to status. The rate offered is always provisional and will depend upon your personal circumstances, the loan amount and term.

How long does delivery take and where do you ship?

We aim to dispatch goods from our workshops within 3 working days, followed by a delivery time of 2-3 working days. Contact us if time is critical, and we'll endeavour to assist.

  • UK Mainland: Standard delivery is available directly through the website.
  • Restricted Areas: We do not currently accept online orders for Europe, The Channel Islands, The Isle of Man, or Ireland. If you are in these locations, please call us on 01228 712121 to discuss shipping options.
  • Delivery Process: Deliveries are made kerbside between 7:30am and 6:00pm, Monday–Friday. Palletised machines up to 1.9m in width are delivered with a tail lift vehicle. Some vehicle restrictions and oversize pallets may require handling equipment at the receiving end (such as forklift truck/loader) due to weight and/or overall size. You may be required to assist the driver with offloading.

What does your 3-Year Warranty cover?

All qualifying new MDL Powerup machinery is covered by our 3-Year Warranty for added peace of mind. The first 12 months include qualifying parts and labour, followed by a further 24 months parts-only warranty. Coverage applies to manufacturing and material defects under normal use and is subject to our full Warranty Terms & Conditions.

What is your returns policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you experience any issues with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Before returning any item, please contact our team to discuss the issue.

Many of the products we supply are large, heavy, or palletised agricultural machinery and equipment. By contacting us first, we can often resolve problems more quickly, identify the most cost-effective solution, and arrange safe transportation where required.

Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused or delayed.

Return Eligibility

Subject to the terms below, items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, products must:

  • Be unused and in a resalable condition.
  • Be complete with all parts, accessories, manuals, and original packaging where possible.
  • Not have been installed, modified, damaged, or used in the field.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If goods arrive damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible and ideally within 48 hours of receipt. Photographs of the item, packaging, and any visible damage may be required to support a claim.

Where goods are confirmed to be faulty, damaged in transit, or supplied incorrectly, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, collection, or refund.

Large and Palletised Returns

Many of our products are shipped on pallets and may weigh up to 1,000kg.

For safety and insurance reasons, customers must not arrange the return of palletised machinery or heavy equipment without first contacting us.

Where a return is approved, we may arrange collection using our preferred carrier. Any applicable return transport charges will be advised before collection is arranged.

Refunds

Once returned goods have been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed product fault.

Return Costs

Where goods are returned because they are no longer required, were ordered incorrectly, or are otherwise not faulty, the customer is responsible for all return transportation costs.

For large, heavy, or palletised items, these costs can be significant. We therefore encourage customers to contact us before purchasing if they have any questions regarding suitability, compatibility, or specification.

Non-Returnable Items

Unless faulty, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Special-order, bespoke, or custom-manufactured products.
  • Parts ordered specifically to customer requirements.
  • Goods that have been installed, used, modified, or damaged after delivery.
  • Clearance or end-of-line items marked as non-returnable.

Restocking Charges

For approved returns of non-faulty goods, we reserve the right to apply a reasonable restocking charge where inspection, repackaging, handling, or administration costs have been incurred.

Any applicable charges will be communicated before the return is finalised.

Yes, we provide a full backup service. We have a fully stocked UK parts warehouse in Carlisle with a large range of spares to fit all our products.
