We provide custom headstock brackets tailored to fit your specific machine. Please complete the attached form to request this service.

Note: Hydraulic hoses are not included. We recommend installing the trimmer bar first and then sizing the hoses to fit your machine.

Hydraulic Flow Requirements

The ideal hydraulic flow for the trimmer bar is 25 to 27 litres per minute. When estimating the available flow to the implement, note that the auxiliary circuit often shares flow with the excavator’s drive system. As a result, the actual flow to the implement may be 40% to 50% less while tracking. For instance, if the manufacturer’s specification shows an auxiliary flow of 50 l/min, the implement might receive only 25 to 30 l/min during tracking.

For larger excavators (over 5 tonnes) with higher flow rates, we can supply a flow diverter valve to regulate the flow to the required rate.
